2022 Speedo Canadian Junior and Senior Championships
The first day of the 2022 speedo Canadian junior and senior nationals is underway in the beautiful city of Montreal! New Brunswick has one swimmer from CNBO, one from CVAC, and two from FAST. Being one of the most competitive competitions of the year, it’s great to see five NB swimmers competing there. After the first day of competition there have already been some great results posted by our NB swimmers.
The results are as follows: Jacob Gallant from FAST finished 2nd in the Mens 200m IM final, finishing with a time of 2:05.38; our youngest competitor from FAST, Sara McNabb finished 17 in the Girls 13-14 100m butterfly final, with a time of 1:07.74; Daniel Duguay from FAST came 17 in the Mens Open 200m IM with a time of 2:24.98; and from CNBO we have Brooklyn Douthwright coming 2nd in the women’s 100m butterfly final, finishing with a time of 1:00.69.
Good luck on your upcoming events and make New Brunswick proud!
