Swimming New Brunswick Annual Post Secondary Scholarship

Starting in 2023-2024, Swimming New Brunswick is proud to re-invest in the future of our athletes.


Applicants must be registered with Swim New Brunswick to be eligible for this scholarship.

Applicants who are attending post-secondary school outside of New Brunswick must be registered with Swim New Brunswick for a minimum of 120 days in the previous swimming calendar year (September 1 to August 31) and attend at least 1 provincial competition in the last swim season.

All applicants must be accepted to a post-secondary institution in the current year AND registered with a recognized Swim Canada registered program.

The award date of this scholarship will be January 15, 2024 on an annual basis.


The total value of scholarships to be awarded annually by Swim New Brunswick is $3,000 CAD.

Two (2) successful applicants will receive one installment of $1,500 CAD.

In the event that there are not two (2) applicants annually, the remainder of the award will be held in the scholarship fund investment and awarded at the Board of Directors’ discretion within the same year.


Applications for the Swimming New Brunswick scholarship will be opened annually on October 5.

All applicants must submit the online application form below no later than November 15, of the calendar year before the date of the award, e.g., November 15, 2023, for an award released on January 15, 2024.
