SNC Trials Wrap-up
Last night was the conclusion of the Swimming Canada Trials, well done to all the NB swimmers: Danielle Dorris, Brooklyn Douthwright and Summer Esson from CNBO and their coach Ryan Allen, Jacob Gallant and Ethan Nestoruk from FAST and their coach Marta Belsh, Brynne Leroy from TIDE and her coach Brian Woods, Sebastien Cariaga from MTA and his coach Sarah Fellner.
– 2 silver medals and 1 gold medal.
– 18 events in total with 5 Finals A and 9 Finals B
– A first trial experience for 4 swimmers.
Congratulations to the New Brunswick officials who attended the trials: Bill Morisson, Jodie Lowe, Dale Esson and JP Dorris.
See you in 10 days at the 2022 Speedo Eastern Canadian Championships – April 21-24 in Pointe- Claire, Quebec.

SNB has reserved the CGAC pool for long course practices on Saturday, Mai 28 between 9a.m. and 2p.m. Please reserve your place via the link below before May 14
NB LC Championship: Special Awards
The 1 LC provincial meet of this year was hosted by CNBO and Tide on March 25 to 27 was attended by 15 clubs and 209 swimmers, swimming a total 1376 events.
Swimmers succeeded with 220 personal best times along with some new Eastern standards and Next gen standards by various athletes.

NB LC Championship: Covid -19
We have heard that some swimmers may have contracted Covid during the Spring Champs at St John in March 25-27. If this applies to swimmers or officials of your club, please advise Marwen. This will help us better manage the risk for the Trials in May.
Registration is now live for our NextGen camp!
The 2nd NextGen Camp is planned for April 22-23 in Sackville for clubs within two hours of MtA (swimmers and coaches) and April 23-24 for athletes and coaches from outside the two-hour driving distance.
Participants are required to pay $40 registration fee, which entitles them to the following:
- Two technical pool sessions
- One combined pool fitness challenge
- Nutrition session
- Gym session
- Housing and meals at MtA

- All registrants will receive the camp schedule after the registration deadline.
- All registrations must be received through the link below by April 17, 2022.
- Swimmers who achieved NextGen standards during the Spring Championships will be included in the list during the week.? Please make checks payable to SNB or electronic transfer to swimnb@nb.aibn.com by April 20, 2022.
- Each club must provide a certified coach (professional development points will be earned).
