Spring Summit

Sport NB is proud to announce the Spring forward for Quality Sport on June 8th. All clubs are invited to this event which will take place on June 8th in person at the Crown Plaza in Fredericton and lunch will be provided.

The summit will include the following:

  •  The Envisioning Sport project Change Agenda
  •  A presentation on Quality Sport for Communities and Clubs
  •  A presentation on Safe Sport (the NB Safe Sport Dispute Resolution Program) Please make sure to register at

The Canadian Sport Policy

The Canadian Sport Policy is set to be renewed in February 2023.
The renewed sport policy will help identify Canadian sport priorities. It will also guide how federal, provincial and territorial governments advance sport for the next 10 years (2023 to 2033).

2022 SNB Canada Games Trials

Swimming NB would like to thank all the volunteers and officials who participated in the success of the Canada Games Trials. Congratulations also to Cynthia Duguay for being certified as a level 4 official since May 2022.

Neptune International: Participation of Swim NB team

46 swimmers from Team Swim NB are in action all weekend at the Neptune Competition in Montreal from May 20-22, 2022.

2022 Speedo Canadian Masters Swimming Championships

This weekend there is a Masters level competition being held in Laval, Quebec. SwimNB is very proud to announce that 5 NB swimmers will be competing there! The swimmers are as follows: From the UNB Masters Juanita Prebble; and from AQUA, Kristin Bergeron, Amy Chamberlain, Jessica Pineault, Catherine Benoit. We would like to wish all of you good luck, we can’t wait to see how you do!

Competition – Camp Best Fest: Team Swimming NB

We would like to congratulate our swimmers who have been selected to be part of our Team NB for the 2022 International Open Water Competition! The Swim NB team will consist of : Alex Hussey, Brynne Leroy, Inass Rachidi, Olivia Levesque and coaches Mohamed Rachidi and Brian Woods.

They will be heading to Mallorca, Spain to participate in the BEST Fest competition which will be held from May 29 to June 3.

Long-Course training opportunities: Session 5

Swim NB has reserved the CGAC pool for the last long course training session of the season on Saturday, June 25th between 9a.m. and 2p.m. We invite clubs who intend to participate to reserve their spot via the link below before June 13th

NCCP Multisport Spring Calendar 2022

A number of NCCP multi-sport courses will be offered this spring and early summer of 2022 for coaches. The courses cover Introduction to Competition, Competition Development and Resource Persons and Evaluators. The courses are available at the following link: https://thelocker.coach.ca/calendar

Meets Calendar

2021-2022: Due to resource constraints, the date of Invitational #4 which was initially planned for June 4-5 in Edmundston has been rescheduled to June 18-19. This change in date was due to circumstances out of our control and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
2022-2023: We would like to thank all the club presidents who attended the Presidents’ Council meeting held on Tuesday, May 17th for their comments on the proposed calendar for next season, as well as all the members of our committees, clubs who sent us their comments. For those who have not yet done so, we ask you to provide your feedback before May 29. We also encourage you to share the calendar with your members. The input from everyone will be very helpful in finalizing the calendar.
A big thank you also to all the committee members for taking a hard look at the schedule and the work put into it.
