AGM Weekend Program
Below is an update on the Swim NB weekend and AGM program with more information on the swimmers’ activities. The morning program includes a physiotherapy presentation and a motivational speaker session. The afternoon will be dedicated to a dual meet of 12 events and a water polo game to finish! Sunday morning: Yoga session, please confirm the number of your swimmers who plan to attend this session before October 10th 2022.

Recruitment of Provincial Coach Coordinators
SNB is recruiting for four new positions as Provincial Coordinating Coaches. Each Coordinating Coach will be responsible for coordinating training, development and competition, activities for a targeted group of swimmers, who meet defined selection criteria. These positions have been established in 2021 so that coaches currently working with clubs can undertake an additional provincial role without abandoning their club responsibilities. Coordinating Coaches will work in collaboration with coach at each swimmer’s club and will not show favouritism towards swimmers from their own club.
Coordinating Coaches will each receive an honorarium of up to $2,500 to compensate them for their time and their necessary travel.
Coaches may apply for more than one position, but each application should be in a separate letter, reflecting the needs of swimmers in each group. All applicants should consult the SNB Performance Program and available lists of swimmers currently qualified for each group.
Applications should be received by the SNB Executive Director before 10th September 2022. Job descriptions are available on the link below:

Golden Flipper Challenge
Hello Swim NB Coaches!
Swim BC has sent us a challenge and we have accepted!!
Last season Swim BC challenged Swim Alberta to a butterfly challenge – the Golden Flipper Challenge. It was very successful with many clubs, coaches, and their swimmers engaging in butterfly through the season.
This season Swim BC is putting out multiple challenges.
Swim BC Northeast and Northwest Regions would like to challenge Swim New Brunswick this season. The two northern regions are made up of eight clubs located in BC’s north. These communities include Prince George, Prince Rupert, Williams Lake, Kitimat, Fort St. John, plus a few smaller communities.

Jumpstart Sport Fund
