COVID-19 Update for sport and recreation – 2021/10/08

As you are aware, the government has announced that a circuit breaker will be in place in Public Health Zone 1,4 and parts of Zone 3 for 14 days starting Friday October 8th at 6:00 pm.

We have received confirmation that all athletes in all age categories can continue to train in all areas of New Brunswick and Swimming NB supports this position and recommends:

  • Proof of immunization is required for participants over the age of 12.
  • Ensuring physical distancing and wearing masks where possible for participants who are 11 years of age and under.

The updated Sports and Recreation Orientation document with clarifications, including information on the “circuit breaker” and Swimming NB’s vaccination guidelines are available here.

2021 Swim NB AGM

We remind all our members who have not yet submitted their annual report, the list of delegates who will be attending our AGM to send them to us as soon as possible so that we can finalize our annual report and distribute the links to the call and any other information about the AGM. Thank you!
