COVID-19 Update for sport and recreation – 2021/10/14

Please note that the Sport and Recreation guidance document has been updated and includes additional directives in the event of school outbreaks. See paragraph #35 that refers to the impact of an outbreak in schools on the participation in organized sports (community sports).

2021 MLTC

In order to plan for 2021 MLTC to be hosted by FAST at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre on December 10-12, we are asking all clubs to express their intentions to participate in this provincial meet and to provide an approximate number of participating swimmers via this survey by October 29.

SNB November Challenge

This November, Swimming New Brunswick is hosting a challenge that will be posted within the next few days. For the winners of the challenge, we will have different prizes such as a 2020 Paralympic team backpack, and two t-shirts one Red and one White signed by Danielle Dorris. We wish all the swimmers the best of luck and we can’t wait to announce what the challenge will be.

Jumpstart Sport Fund

We are delighted to announce that Swimming NB has been selected by Jumpstart to receive a grant from their Sport Assistance Fund. The Fund helps community sport organizations like ours to continue to provide access to sport.
