SNB Board of directors: splash fees
We would like to thank all the host clubs of the 15 In- house meets held in our province until December 18, 2020 for the important role you play as leaders and organizers in the well-being and safety of the New Brunswick swimmers .
We are pleased to inform you, that following the Swim NB Board of Directors meeting held on December 14, 2020, that Swim NB will refund clubs the sanction fees for all in house meets that took place during the period October 23, 2020 to January 31, 2021.
Please note that for accounting purposes, we invite you to continue to pay all invoices related to the splash fees, as the reimbursement will be made in February 2021.

Updated sections have been highlighted and are related to the following questions:
Q.4 guidance for coaches who reside in yellow zone but work in orange zones
Q.5 clarification of restrictions for children travelling out of region for custodial agreements.
Q. 24 additional guidance for to limit number of social interactions in December in alignment with Holiday guidance (regions in Yellow).
There is great concern with the potential for virus transmission over the Holidays, we ask that all our members to take all precautions possible to minimize the potential for outbreaks through risk mitigation measures such as screening protocols, physical distancing and handwashing/disinfection of equipment.

Call for Nominations – Technical committee (TC) 2020-2021
The call of nominations for the 2020-2021 Swimming New Brunswick TC is now available.
If you are interested in supporting SNB as a member of our TC, we look more than forward to receiving your completed Declaration of Intent form by 16th January 2021.
Swimming Canada (SNC): Officials Bulletin: December 2020
Below is a link to the December 2020 Officials Bulletin which covers online learning courses, Olympic and Paralympic Trials, and an overview of the Officials Committee’s activities related to return to competition and official’s development. The newsletter Wil be posted on the Swimming Canada website on Monday, December 21.
NB Swimming Video Compilation-2021
All clubs and committee are invited to submit a short video (10 sec) with a brief positive message of your New Year’s wishes. You can choose a person or group from your club (swimmer, coach, official or executive), but do not forget to show your club’s logo.
We will then make a compilation of all the videos and share it on our social media channels. Our goal is to spread the positive vibes of the swimming community throughout the province. Come on, be creative and send us your video at email@example.com before December 29th.
