SNC is introducing this season, a new and improved Swim-a-Thon fundraising platform, which is different to the Raise-a-thon platform. Clubs and individuals are invited to sign up for free by visiting https://donate.swimming.ca/ and following the three easy steps to begin their fundraising efforts.
Swim-a-Thon campaigns are now eligible and run until August 31, 2023. Outlined below under the fundraising windows available for this season:
– March 1, 2023 to May 31, 2023
– May 1, 2023 to August 31, 2023
Clubs will continue to receive a grant for 90% of the gross amount raised through Swim-a-Thon. Of the 10% retained by Swimming Canada, the Provincial Section is given a 4% grant which Provincial Sections use to support Swim-a- Thon; 3-4% is for processing fees, updates to the Swim-a-Thon online system, and prizing; and the balance of 1-2% goes towards National swimming programs.

LC Training session – March 2023

Core Training for Coach Evaluator
Coach NB is offering Core Training for Coach Evaluator on April 2nd at the Fairway Inn in Sussex. If you or one of your coaches are considering becoming a coach developer, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org before 15 March 2023, this is the perfect opportunity to start that process!
Please note this will be the only time this fiscal that Coach NB will host Core Training for Coach Evaluator.

The Coaches Bulletin has been published by SNC and is available at the link below. The bulletin mainly contains information on swimmer registration for the 2023 Speedo Eastern Canadian Championships. Please note that all participants in this event (swimmers, coaches, support staff) will be required to have a status of Registered in the RTR.
Canadian Masters Championships – Entries opening March 13, 2023
Entries for the Canadian Masters Championships will open on March 13, 2023, to allow time for testing of the entries process. Please let me know if you have any questions. If you have Masters swimmers who wish to participate and have questions, please contact us.
