Swimming Canada (SC) – Update 2020 Open Water Trials Meet Information Package

Please be advised the 2020 Open Water Trials meet information package has been updated. SC has changed the “Age as of” date to 31st December 2020 in order to be in line with the FINA minimum age rule and the FINA World Junior Open Water Championships selection criteria.

A new Hytek entry file has been uploaded to the meet list to reflect this change.

Swimming Canada – Travel Notification

As the coronavirus (COVID-19) has become an increasing concern, SC has taken the decision to restrict work travel of SC staff, contractors volunteers and national team athletes to Canada and mainland USA only until after the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Trials to be held in Toronto at the beginning of April and will review next steps thereafter.

As far as the trials are concerned, there are no changes for the time being. SC will continue to work with its partners and various government agencies to stay up to date with the most current information.
