Club Manual
Good News!
We are pleased to inform you that we have finally received the first part (section 1-5) of the French translation of the Club Manual, which is attached to this week’s newsletter. We expect to receive the complete translation of the manual by the end of the year.
Development Camps
SNB will try a new approach to the organization of development camps for the 2019-2020 season. In the past, clubs have organized the dates, activities and program while the SNB office has dealt with invitations and most of the payments. This has caused difficulties and confusion as to costs and responsibilities for planning.
This year, development camps will be organized in the same way as meets – the club awarded the organization of a camp will be responsible for all aspects of planning and delivery thereof, including fixing the participation fee and paying all costs associated with the camp. SNB will provide an amount of 250 $ to each club organizing an approved camp to help offset the costs of the camp.
To facilitate the tasks of the host club in organizing development camps, the Technical Committee will prepare a manual guiding the coach/club in charge as to the selection criteria, set-up, contents and proposed activities of each camp.
The camp schedule for the 2019-2020 season is as follows:
- Edmundston – NES (5 OCT. 2019) ?
- Sussex – SWRD (TBD)
- Tracadie – LES (1 DEC. 2019)
- Moncton – CVAC (11-12 JAN. 2020)
- Miramichi -MWC (14-15 MAR. 2020)
- Fredericton – FAST (18-19 APR./AVR. 2020)
