Para Swimming Classification Opportunity – Saturday Jan 05

Swimming New Brunswick is hosting Para-swimming classification for Para-swimmers with a physical impairment FCS (Functional Classification System) in conjunction with the Canada Games Training camp #2, Saturday January 05 2013.

Classification will take place at the Canada Games Aquatic Center in Saint John NB with Janet Dunn from Swimming Canada conducting the classifications.

Swimmer requirements: Swimmers should be 11 and older, Swimmers should be in a program where they are attending Swim meets, Swimmers need to be able to swim a 100m IM (continuous), Swimmers who are determined to be eligible will receive a Provincial level classification.

Coaches with swimmers with either a visual impairment or an intellectual impairment requiring classification should complete the Request for Sports Class form and Swimming New Brunswick will forward to Swimming Canada for evaluation.
