Speedo Canadian Junior and Senior Nationals Day #4
We are half way through the competition and our New Brunswick swimmers are doing a great job at the Speedo Canadian Junior and Senior Nationals! Our new Brunswick swimmers have been doing an amazing job and they’ve had a total of 11 finals swim so far! There were lots of great swims today and Jacob Gallant took home the gold in the Mens 200m Breaststroke! We also had two great finals swims from Sara McNabb and Brynne LeRoy.
The results from today are as follows: Sara McNabb from FAST came 11th in the Girls 13-14 200m Butterfly final, with time of 2:32.61; Jacob Gallant from FAST took home the Gold in the Mens 200m Breastroke final, touching the wall with a time of 2:16.23; TIDE’s Brynne LeRoy came 12th in the Girls 15-17 1500m free final, with a time of 18:01.59; Daniel Duguay from FAST came 37th in the Mens Open 100m free, with a time of 57.92; and Colson Mersereau from CVAC came 27th in the Mens Open 100m free, with a time of 56.21.
The swimming has been great from everyone participating in the swim meet, good luck on the 4 days to come!
