Swimming Press Release – Danielle Dorris has a chance at NB’s first Paralympic medal in Swimming

Swimming New Brunswick — Swimming NB is very excited to announce that Danielle Dorris from Club de Natation Blue et Or, will be competing for Canada in Tokyo at the 2020Paralympics Games. Danielle Dorris has been training very hard and has a chance at New Brunswick’s first Paralympics medal in swimming. Recently competing at the Atlantic Cup in July, Danielle achieved a new Canadian Record in the 50 Fly which puts her in a great position heading into the 2020 Games.

When asked about her expectations for the 2020 games Danielle said “In 2016 in Rio, my goal was to take in the experience and understand how the games work, now for Tokyo my goal is to make finals in all my events and get a chance to race for a medal.”

Ranking 5th in all her events in 2016 and with many great performances since, she is sure to put up some good competition so you’ll want to watch her races!
